MORE INFORMATION

Imagine the view from your treehouse; where adults can feel like kids again and children’s dreams of sleeping in a treehouse can come true. Immerse yourself in nature and fresh air of the Laurentians without foregoing the creature comforts of home.
Plenty of activities are available in all seasons. In winter explore the trails of Parc Eco des Laurentides on snowshoe or cross-country skis, then have a campfire. In summer stroll down to the lake for a refreshing dip, cast a rod with your kids, float out on a canoe, picnic in the sun, or just hang out!

Our treehouses are located in two distinct sectors on the two sides of Lac Cordon, Lakeside East (Treehouses 1-10) and Lakeside West (Treehouses 11-20). All are built to blend in to their natural environment with southern orientations to maximize sunlight and an abundance of windows allow you to enjoy the natural surroundings even when you are inside.

We offer 20 comfortable and well-equipped living spaces in a unique back-country environment (walking access only, no electricity). Get ready for a unique wilderness experience where your participation is required to get settled in, but it’s well worth the effort. It’s an adventure that is a little bit like camping, a little bit like glamping, and a lot like nothing else you’ve ever tried! Treehouses are all insulated, heated with wood, furnished with comfortable beds and are equipped for cooking. They all have a sunny terrace, an outside fire pit and a picnic table. Outhouses are located a short distance from each treehouse.
Our Tremblant Treehouses are nestled on the edge of a lake in a 2000 acre protected regional park, the Parc Eco des Laurentides, with 36km of walking trails, 4 lakes, wetlands and a 1km boardwalk crossing a lake providing magnificent views, and plenty of fantastic places to picnic.

    WHAT TO BRING

    • Packing light means less to transport. Your bags, food, wood and water will be heavy
    • Do not bring wood unless it is a manufactured log or commercially packaged(kiln dried). Moving firewood, even just a few kilometers, can spread invasive insects and diseases to our forests and is no longer allowed in the Province. Sustainably harvested, carbon-offset firewood is available for purchase at the Reception. Fallen and standing trees, dead or alive, are home to birds insects and animals, so leave them intact. They recycle nutrients back into the environment through decomposition. Stripping branches from standing or fallen trees also detracts from an area's natural appearance.
    • Sleeping bags (3 season) & pillows
    • Food & beverages: A well-stocked depanneur is located at park entrance, but is only open in summer. Closest grocery store is 25 minutes from the site
    • It is not necessary to buy or bring water. Drinking water is available at the reception building. Lake water is located near your treehouse and may be purified or boiled for drinking water. Note: Bottled water is discouraged due to landfill waste that it generates, and the additional weight you will have to carry
    • Flashlights and batteries
    • Toiletries; biodegradable & phosphate free, and towels
    • Appropriate footwear for living in the forest
    • Slippers to keep your treehouse clean & dry
    • Your own snowshoes or micro-spikes or rent from our reception
    • Note: Repackage food to minimize waste.

What should I bring with me?

To help prepare you for your stay, a detailed list of what is provided, and what you should bring, will be emailed with your reservation confirmation. Mainly, food, light and bedding. Visit our Food packing tips page.

Can you walk to the treehouses or are they only accessible by canoe?

All treehouses are accessible by foot. You can get between 10 and 200 m from the Lakeside East treehouses by canoe, which is also an option to transport your gear (37 $ for the duration of your stay.) You can also canoe to Lakeside West, but we highly recommend transporting baggage by foot to Lakeside West.

Is the walk to the treehouse difficult?

The walk isn’t difficult, but you will need to pull your baggage cart and if you pack a lot it can be quite heavy. We provide two carts or toboggans and you will need them both as putting everything in one will usually be too heavy. You will need to transport your luggage and food, wood (40lbs), water (33 lbs), and other gear. There are a couple of steep spots on the walk, but the trails are wide and well maintained. The walk to Lakeside East is easier than to Lakeside West. Winter weather conditions may make the walk longer. The closest treehouses to the parking are #3, #5 The Bee, #7, #9 The Yurt, #10.

    Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Dogs are welcome in the treehouses and on the site on a leash. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

No, but dry toilets are located near each cabin. Full bathrooms with showers are available at the Reception – Pavilion building.

Is there electricity in the treehouses?

No, but you can rent a power pack at the reception and use it for basic small electrical items (cell phones, laptops, and gadgets…but it won’t power a blender).

Is there a fridge in the treehouses?

No, but each treehouse is equipped with a 60 L cooler. Ice is available at the reception – pavilion building.

Is there running water in the treehouses?

No, but there is sink and water containers with spouts. You can use lake water to wash dishes etc…

Are there any extra fees when I arrive? why can't it all be included in the nightly rate?

Park access fees collected for Parc Eco des Laurentides, the not for profit organization that manages the regional park where we are located, must be collected on site. Being an eco-resort and in the spirit of sustainability, there are also consumable items we charge for on site, just like a campground would.
